Qi Gong
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, controlled breathing, and focused intention to cultivate and balance the body’s vital energy, known as qi. Originating from Taoist and Buddhist traditions, it has been used for thousands of years to promote health, longevity, and spiritual awareness. Unlike purely physical exercise, Qi Gong emphasizes harmony between body, mind, and spirit, with flowing postures designed to enhance circulation, calm the mind, and strengthen internal energy. The term Qi Gong combines qi (life force energy) with gong (skill through practice), reflecting its purpose as the art of working with life energy. Today, it is practiced worldwide both as a form of moving meditation and as a holistic system for well‑being, making it a bridge between martial discipline, healing arts, and spiritual cultivation.
